This page will help new Talent quickly understand the process for joining our community. Once approved and vetted, you'll be able to complete your profile, browser projects and fractional roles, and chat and engage with clients all on Publicist.
Publicist Application Process:
#1 Request a profile
To begin, first register for a new account with Publicist or login with your existing account. Next, complete and submit the "Join our Community" form to start the profile request and review process.
#2 Talent team review
From here, our esteemed board of industry leaders will vet talent based on our judging criteria. We look at things like experience and professional history. We also vet our community based on the geographies in which we are live.
#3 Complete your profile
We'll notify you automatically when you are either approved or waitlisted. Once approved, log in to your new WORK dashboard and complete your profile by adding skills, your bio, experience, locations, and by adding portfolio works to tag brands, agencies, and publishers who you have worked with or for in the past.
#4 Set your Availability
Keep your current availability as up to date as possibly by setting it from your WORK dashboard. We put an emphasis on availability when matching Talent with projects and fractional roles.
#5 Start Pitching
Submit proposals and start new engagements on Projects and Fractional Roles that interest you! Set your rates on a per-project or per-role basis, negotiate with clients, sign contracts, and get invoices paid all through the Publicist platform.
